A Ribbon Cutting And a 5 Year Anniversary Celebration
Written by Emily Pryor - Owner of That's Groomer to You

Miss Emily of "That's Groomer to You!" Mobile Dog Grooming hosted a Ribbon Cutting Celebration to announce her commitment to the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce on Thursday August 27th.  Miss Emily also took this opportunity to show her appreciation to her Grooming Clients of five years, serving the Brandon, Bloomingdale, Fishhawk Ranch, and the Valrico area.  The conference room of the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce was filled with members and guests who love their pets!

Ed Booth of Huth & Booth Photography stood the longest through the Twenty Questions Competition for the Door Prize.  A Bath Bucket filled with everything that your pet needs for proper care of its coat and skin.

Baxter Brown a miniature poodle owned by Toby Brown of TMI Landscaping Materials was a 'Table Angel' for Miss Emily as she performed a mini-seminar on "How to Maintain your Dog's coat in Ten Minutes"  for the guests. "I love doing seminars for my clients and their friends, it helps me to understand that combing and brushing a dog isn't as easy for others as it is for me."  Even experienced dog owners who enjoy maintaining their dog's coats can learn a thing or two or three from one of Miss Emily's Seminars.

The guests were also able to get a good look into the state-of-the -art converted van of "That's Groomer to You!" Mobile Dog Grooming Services.  "Mine is a Carriage Trade".  I only groom four or five doggies per day.  I only groom doggies who keep their weight under 30 pounds (there are a few exceptions). The clients that enjoy my services keep their doggies on a regular schedule.

Miss Emily attends several Grooming Conferences each year.  Learning new styling trends, new handling techniques and the newest products for the care and treatment of her customers' dogs.  This is the most valuable purpose of attending these three day trade shows.  Dog groomers gather to share their experiences and to learn from each other how to be better business owners and how to improve their communication skills with their customers and their dogs.  Miss Emily says, "If you love your vocation grooming dogs then learning more about how to improve your handling skills, styling abilities, and communication skills with your clients will enrich your everyday work as a groomer."

Dear Ms. Emily,

Just a note to extend our gratitude for your assistance during a recent abuse case investigated by Hillsborough County Animal Services -- dozens of Yorkshire Terriers seized from filthy breeding operations.   Your excellence in grooming was a gift these innocent creatures have never known,  and your generosity was only exceeded by your passion for the dogs.   Please know that it also lifts our staff to know others share our dedication during these rescue missions.

I hope your friends, family and customers enjoyed seeing THAT'S GROOMER TO YOU on FOX 13 TV during one of many media segments at the shelter.

Thank you again, and please know that your precious donation of time and spirit has had an immediate and positive impact on our community.

Best Always,

Marti
